December 7th, 2024 marks the 83rd Anniversary of Pearl Harbor Day, honoring the 2,403 Americans killed on December 7th, 1941, in the surprise attack in Hawaii, leading to the US declaring war on Japan the next day. In 1994, the US Congress designated December 7th of each year as National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day. This joint resolution was signed by President Bill Clinton on August 23, 1994. On November 29th , Clinton issued a proclamation declaring December 7, 1994 the first National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day. On Pearl Harbor Day, the American Flag should be flown at half-staff until sunset to honor those who died as a result of the attack on U.S. Military Forces in Hawaii.
It is in Remembrance of these Historical Events that we are pleased to honor a couple who have served their country and their communities, with the Wedding they missed out on, due to the call of duty. Brought to You by The League City Proud Organization and our many local community sponsors, we present A Wedding to Remember joining Tyler and Macie Cartledge on this historic and honored day, December 7th .
